HI, I'M SARAH.

I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and National Certified Counselor (NCC) in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. I work with individuals and couples who feel anxious, overwhelmed, disconnected, or tired of finding themselves in the same patterns over and over again.

I’m especially interested in what’s happening underneath the patterns that leave us feeling stuck. Anxiety, overthinking, difficulty trusting, needing reassurance, or pulling away when things feel vulnerable often make more sense when we understand what’s driving them and what they may be protecting.

With couples, we slow down what happens between you - the arguments, distance, pursuing and withdrawing, or places where emotional or sexual intimacy has become difficult. My work is rooted in attachment and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), with the goal of helping you better understand the cycle you’re caught in and find a different way of connecting.

My approach is warm, collaborative, and direct. I won’t just sit back and nod for an hour. I’m here to help you get curious about the patterns that keep showing up.

I earned my Master’s Degree in Counselor Education with a concentration in Mental Health Counseling from the University of New Orleans.

Outside of the counseling office, I’m a wife and mom of two girls. I love traveling, concerts, good food, and usually have my next trip planned before the current one is over.
